Just want to let everyone know that Oct. 31, 2024 will be the last day to donate aluminum cans to Friends for Animals. The business we take them to is closing and there is nowhere else in Granbury buying cans.
We’d like to thank all the donors who’ve donated cans throughout the years.. Also, a huge thank you to the volunteers who’ve handled the can donations all these years.
The Friends for Animals cannot thank all the donors enough for their generosity for the North Texas Giving Day fundraiser!!! We raised over $2,000!!!!! You all are awesome. We are so grateful that you care about our cause and with these monies we will be able to make the lives of our abandoned pets so much better so they can go their forever home.
A big thanks goes to the folks at Silver Saddle Saloon. They collected items off our wish list & delivered dog food & other items today. We appreciate the folks who donated & Rebecca for organizing this for our dogs.

We were there with 6 dogs and came back with 4! Yes, we had 2 adoptions, Nugget and Kimber! 🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾 We were just thrilled. There were lots of interesting vendors and a good time was had by all. Our community is just awesome!
UPDATED INFO: If stores locally are out of Pedigree Puppy dry, then Iams Puppy dry food is a great substitute! We use both.
Puppy season is upon us! We’re currently raising over a dozen puppies that are 9 weeks old that aren’t ready for adoption, plus the 3-4 month old puppies that are up for adoption. So, we have a great need for Pedigree Puppy Dry food. If you can donate, we’d really appreciate the help. If you’d like to drop off a bag of Pedigree dry food, we’re open Noon-3 p.m., Tues., Thur., Fri. & Sat. & are located at 2885 Fall Creek Hwy., Granbury, TX 76049 817-326-3647. We can accept delivery from Chewy, Amazon etc.
